--FROM THE WRITER'S BLOTTER--

Sorry, but this isn't the next chapter, but a little note on my process. In the future, I'll note these with the title "FROM THE WRITER'S BLOTTER".

The Myths I Play With

Some of you sharp readers may have noticed I am a fan on mythology and mystic creatures.

I really am. I love the idea of these absurd creatures with absurd jobs existing. For instance did you know there was a little half-man half-goat (like a faun) in Greek myth who was named Pan. When Pan shouted and blew his horn it is said all of the titans, gods, and creatures were turned looney and started running down hillsides hysterically. That's where we get the word PANIC.

I'm quite sure Pan never existed, however it is fun to imagine what a world would be like with mystical creatures roaming the grounds/waters.

It may interest you to know some of the fascinating characters I've used in my story are based on some of the mythological creatures I've read and studied over the years.

If one wanted to know more about some of my characters in "Nedge", one would only need to research some simple myths. For instance, Max's name has more to it than most might think... As does Tura's. If you pay attention to the upcoming chapters you may encounter some mythical creatures. Keep a watchful eye!

Hope you are enjoying the story,

The Author
