There are weekends where I wake up early to curl up on the sofa, whip open my laptop, and pour my little creative brain into the electric page that contains the world of Nedge.
Then there are other weekends... I look at my laptop, cased-up and locked away in its pack, its gray color reminding me of the few strands of gray hair that have emerged from my scruffy head since attempting to dive into Nedge, and I scowl at it in anger as my creativity has dried up like a rain-puddle in July.
Either way, the weekends seem to chant "Nedge, Nedge, Nedge..."
I suppose this prodding is a good thing. It keeps me working on my so-called "craft" and spurs me on to make my work worthy of reading.
I know one day you'll read it (whoever you are).
So now, I sit on the couch and wait. Wait for my laptop to tell me what I will do next.
Only time will tell.
