Ideas

I love good books. I have been reading some good books (like Haroun and the Sea of Stories) and some pretty good books (like The Hunger Games) and some really old books (like Mythology). At any rate, as I have read or am reading these books I at times stop and laugh that some of my "interesting writings" from my own book have similar themes and traits of the above listed books. I could take it one of two ways:

1. "Oh great, I try to write something original and there it is. Staring back at me in black and parchment. The theme has been played out."

or

2. "Wow. I share some thoughts with these writers. And not just any writers, successful ones. That's awesome."
