About a year and four months ago, I had the opportunity to travel to England where I visited many of the sites I have included in the story. Here is the inspiration for two of the small scenes in the story.
I, obviously, added a few of my own details, but sometimes seeing something in real life can bring about the most wonderful story ideas.
If you are a young author, I encourage you to sit back and look around you. You never know where a story may pop up. For me, the site of these women next to a carousal just BEGGED to be written down. And, wha lah! There it is!
