Max and Jax

I took a little detour from my NEDGE writing (again, I know... but detours can be good). I wrote the first three of five chapters of this little story about two friends: Max and Jax. They meet in a park on a Saturday morning and make a plan to catch something... Something big... Something epic.

I can't list all of the deatils, but I'll tell you this:

I imagine one of the kids to be Westly-esk and the other to be this boy I taught when he was in preschool--we'll call him Jamal. He was one of the cutest kids I've known. A little bit of a curious kid who liked to explore the playground like it was a super-awesome adventure spot.

At any rate, the story is pretty cute but I'm not sure I'll do anything with it. Once I've finished it I will either post my thoughts on it or just post it on here with some doodles.

Writing can be fun.

Then again, it can be like the edits I'm doing on my novel... Grr.. So. Exhausting.
