Summer is coming... Can't you tell? All the teachers in the world, not to mention the kids, are running around frantic as the days dwindle away.
I have a lot of plans this summer that can be summed up into this one summer thought: Nothing.
I plan on doing a whole lot of nothing. Which, for this guy, translates to: creative freedom.
So here are some of the want to dos:
1. Do some artwork--hopefully with my computer if I get one over the summer.
2. Write some stories--again, computer would help here.
3. Go to Tahoe with the fam--computer or not, this one will happen.
4. Ride my bike in the mornings--this one needs help since my chain is stuck and I am mechanically un-inclined.
5. Take some afternoon walks with the lovely wife and handsome son--I love that he will be walking on the walks.
6. Read some books--I am reading and in some cases re-reading books for school. Here comes the list:
And Then There Were None
The Hounds of the Baskervilles
Murder on the Orient Express
Unbroken
Slaughterhouse Five
The rest of the summer is open for Evergreen Video rentals, resting, taking care of West, and enjoying the peace that comes to those of us who have been called to a profession that gives us 60 days off in the middle of the year. Woot, woot for teaching!
